The day to day financial management of schools is delegated to Headteachers. The central finance team provide high-quality support to them, their business managers and finance staff.

• budget setting

• financial processes and procedures

• reporting to the local governing bodies

• statutory finance requirements

• statutory reporting to the ESFA
