We are looking for a caring, flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our team as a Midday Supervisor. The main purposes of the job include supervising pupils both inside and outside, setting up and tidying the hall, leading games and ensuring the pupils are safe and happy.

St James' CofE Primary School

We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time Class Teacher to join our friendly, exciting and supportive team in either KS1 or KS2. You will be working alongside an experienced, forward thinking and creative team across the school. The post is offered as a salary on Main Scale on a permanent basis. 

This is a part-time post for  0.44FTE hours per week starting 1st September 2026. The working days are Thursday and Friday all day, plus additional time for PPA.

St James' CofE Primary School

Role Title: EHCP Teaching Assistant (3 positions available)

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team, working closely with children in Reception and Year 1 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

This rewarding role involves supporting children with communication and interaction needs, helping them to thrive both socially and academically in a nurturing environment. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake midday supervision duties as part of the role. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive difference in children’s lives.

You will be part of a friendly and welcoming team.

The post is offered as a salary of:

  • Grade 5, Point 11-14 (for qualified candidates)

  • Grade 3, Point 4-6 (for unqualified candidates)
     

This role is a full-time post for 27.5 hours per week, consisting of 25 hours of TA support and 2.5 hours of MDSA support for the pupil. We may be able to offer part-time positions for the right candidate(s).

This role is a fixed-term post as it is linked to the EHCP of a pupil. The post begins on 1st September 2026.

There are 3 EHCP TA positions available.

A key aspect of the role is providing thoughtful, patient and consistent support for children with additional and complex needs, enabling every child to feel valued, safe and able to succeed. 

 
The role requires a genuine willingness to support all pupils, a calm and compassionate approach, and a belief that every child can shine brightly when the right support is in place.

Minchinhampton CofE Primary Academy is seeking a skilled, conscientious Nursery Assistant to work in our Nursery. In return, the successful candidate will find themselves among supportive and welcoming staff, parents and governors in a modern, purpose-built and popular school with strong links to the church and community. 
 
The early years nursery assistant will provide high quality education and care of the children in the School Nursery. They will nurture good working relationships with children, parents/carers in the role of Key Person. 

The successful applicant will: 

  • Work within the School Nursery as a member of the Nursery team to ensure that a balanced programme of interacted education and childcare provision is delivered which meets each individual child’s needs. 

  • Support and develop parent partnerships to ensure good collaborative working between home and nursery. 

  • Ensure that as a Nursery team member, the setting meets all legal requirements as set out in the EYFS statutory framework. 

  • Undertake the role of Key Person to a number of children, completing all associated paperwork as required. 

This role is for a fixed term commencing as soon as possible and continuing so long as funding is available to the employer to support the post advertised. 

The post is offered as a salary of Grade 3 Point 5 on a fixed-term basis until 31st August 2027. The role will begin as soon as possible. 

This is a part-time post for 12 hours per week, working 6 hours each day on a Wednesday and Thursday.
