Claire Morgan

Manager
Claire joined the Trust in January 2015, bringing with her a strong background in finance and a growing depth of experience in estates management. She qualified with the AAT Accountancy qualification in August 2013 at the Royal Forest of Dean College, while working as an account's technician in two independent practices in Monmouthshire and the Forest of Dean. These early roles gave her a solid grounding in a wide range of financial tasks and client-facing work.
During her time at the Trust, Claire has developed a broad range of experience across both finance and operational areas. She has completed a Level 4 Diploma in School Business Management, which has deepened her understanding of the education sector. Claire also has hands-on experience managing estates across the Trust, including ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Laura joined the DGAT Central Team in November 2025. She is responsible for supporting the Trust central estates and compliance function. Laura has a robust professional background in compliance, risk management and underwriting. She has spent over 16 years working within financial services across various niches including the education sector. Laura is looking forward to harnessing her skills and experience, towards providing a safe, secure and fit for purpose learning and work environment for both pupils and employees.

Susanna Hogan
Finance Manager
Having relocated back to the area from Northamptonshire, Susanna joined DGAT in November 2020. Susanna has years of valuable experience as a School Business Manager for schools within PDET (Peterborough Diocese Education Trust), supporting the schools’ smooth transition from LA maintained to Academy status. Her broad experiences encompass all school finance operations, including budget setting, personnel, payroll and premises management. Alongside this, Susanna is proud to have achieved the Level 4 Diploma in School Business Management.
Most recently, Susanna gained experience of working in Secondary School with CMAT (Cambridge Meridian Academy Trust), supporting the general financial operations within the Academy.
Louisa brings experience from both the banking and education sectors. She began her career in banking, specialising in compliance and regulatory processes, before moving into Education in 2012. Before joining the Central Team, Louisa worked as a School Business Manager, overseeing finance and operations, and has supported other Trust schools during this time. As a School Finance Partner, Louisa is excited to contribute her experience and business skills to the team.
