St John's C of E Academy is a primary school in Coleford, Forest of Dean. We are a welcoming school with a supportive parent community. 
 
We are seeking two cleaners to ensure the cleanliness of the school on a daily basis.  

These positions are both for 10 hours a week, Monday to Friday 3:10pm-5:10pm. They are term-time (38 weeks), plus an additional four weeks for holiday deep cleaning. 

The posts are permanent positions and will be offered at Grade 2, scale point 3. 
 
The successful candidates will be expected to carry out a full range of duties to provide high standards of cleanliness off the school premises. We are seeking applicants who are team players with good communication skills, a high level of commitment and initiative. The Diocese of Gloucester Academies Trust seek to appoint a part-time EHCP Teaching Assistant.

The EHCP Teaching Assistant hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am – 12pm, term time only. This post is a fixed term contract linked to the child you will be supporting, therefore if the child’s level of support changes or the child leaves the school the contract will be amended accordingly.

The successful candidate will:

· Have the ability to build supportive relationships with children providing the necessary guidance and instruction to help the child you will be working with grow towards achieving their full potential

· Be patient and have a positive attitude

· Have strong behaviour management skills and a variety of behaviour management strategies

· Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to support the child’s needs

· Be enthusiastic and willing to contribute to the busy life of the school

· Experience of working with children who have cognition and learning needs

· Have flexibility around working hours

· Be supportive of the Christian ethos of the school

The post is offered as a salary of Grade 3 (Point 4-6) on a fixed term basis and is suitable for ECT’s.

This is a part-time post for 15 hours a week.
